Betsy and Kris are both still sick. This is a recording from last night that we were going to use as a "clean" show but we fail again and swear. We both cough a lot so just disregard it and chalk it up to the season.

Betsy thinks we need to be sponsored by an orthodontist so Kris can get his grill fixed. I am slowly warming to this idea of sponsorship. I make reference to Dave Slusher from Evil Genius Chronicles and his sponsorship from iPodderX in this podcast and used the wrong phrase to describe it. What I meant to say was that I thought he would be one of the last people to choose to have a sponsorer. But money talks and this bandwidth ain't free. Not that ours is anywhere near his level but I get it.

I am starting to believe that maybe it is just Windows. My Mac compatriots seem to be handling this stuff better with their MobilePre's while mine wants to flake out if more than three applications are running.

The intro for today's show is really bad too. I skipped recording one today during the interview for some reason and won't do it again because today I had to record it on the go with a cheap mic and my skully covering it up for a windscreen.

Today's show was recorded last night because we were going pretty busy this morning, Betsy off to the doctor and the man off to school. The show is pretty long today, which is what seems to happen when we record at night.

Tomorrow I will be doing a solo show that I will record really early in the morning because I will be a guest on Richie Carey's podcast and at 9:00 a.m I am recording my own show with Nicole Simon from useful-sounds.de to air this Thursday (her birthday!).

Betsy is in tow for Wednesday and Friday so look out for the special show with Nicole. Next week I hope to get Dr. Susan Manning back in here and continue my conversation with Dan Balzer about podcasting in education.
